Before there was halloumi, there was darkness in Aotearoa. Zany Zeus burst forth in the year 2000 with our Cypriot style, handmade halloumi cheese (mum’s recipe) that’s been blowing the minds of our customers ever since.
Halloumi is a softish white cheese that gets its salty flavour from a delicate brine. It’s neatly folded by hand and garnished with mint.
Eat our halloumi fresh out of the pack. Or excite all your senses at once by grilling halloumi and adding this golden, warm, gooey, squeaky goodness to any salad or vegetable dish.
Our halloumi won a silver medal in the 2021 NZ Champions of Cheese Awards.
