You can imagine how thrilled we were in 2024 to again strike gold at the New Zealand Champions of Cheese Awards. 

We were awarded Cheeselinks Champion Fresh Italian-Style Cheese for our Italian Style Ricotta with the judges saying; ‘Very smooth and creamy mouthfeel, delicate.... good clean flavour, lovely cheese, well done!’. This capped off a great New Zealand Champions of Cheese Awards for Zany Zeus – sporting our new brand livery – we entered 11 cheeses and received 11 medals and one trophy. All in all we won 5 gold for our Italian style ricotta, Cypriot style halloumi, cream cheese, crème fraiche, sour cream; 3 silver for our mint feta, classic feta and Indian style paneer; and 3 bronze medals for our creamy feta, mascarpone and zingy chilli feta.

This year’s achievements continue our award winning journey. In 2023, at the New Zealand Champions of Cheese Awards, we won gold for our ricotta and crème fraiche, silver for our mascarpone, cream cheese, Indian-style paneer, fresh mint feta; and bronze for our classic feta, creamy feta and halloumi.
